Call Me a Templar

Alright, for all them doodle fans, I am finally back in business. Well, I have to admit this isn't one of the best I've done and yes, it is a bit small. It's been a very long time since i did it so my scaling aint that keen yet, so gimme a couple more doodles to settle in aite? Haha!

Well, this piece is called "Call me a Templar" cuz its a doodle of a Templar Knight from the times of the Crusades. Still have no clue bout what I'm talkin bout? Read a book then, or just google "Templar Knight". Here are the steps I used. This is a special case, normally i wouldn't recommand doing the head last but this one has a rather difficult head to draw so i left it for last. So here goes :

Step 1 : Okay, i skipped a lot but hey I got to into it and forgot, haha! But like i've said before, rough sketches first..

Step 2 : Okay, here i did the boots and erased some unwanted sketches

Step 4 : Okay, almost there. More details here, "Banner", "Sheathed Blade", "Cross" and some tiny details on the belt buckle

Step 4 : Colors, very important to check it up on the net to get them right. And yeah, the helmet. This one I did a little bit shading, im not even sure if you guys can see it. Haha!

So there you have it, a Templar Knight. Took me umm, almost 2 hours or less. Oh yeah, and It was pretty awesome that I actually swtiched off all the lights in my house for Earth Hour tonight, hope you guys did too. Comments on my work would be appreciated. Peace Out dudes and dudettes!
